Product Description

Medieval France, c. 5th-9th Century AD. A simple bronze ring, the bezel inlaid with a piece of glass or semiprecious stone that once had engraved upon it a scene or inscription. So well worn with age that it is worn smooth and almost flush with the bronze setting. Ring might be too brittle for usual wear. Intact, with olive-green patina.
