1928 E $ 5 Legal Tender 12 CONSECUTIVE NOTES # 568 - # 579

Being offered today is a VERY RARE SET of 12 Consecutive 1928 “E” series $5 Dollar Legal Tender in Choice Uncirculated condition (CU).

These notes are “PACK FRESH”. Someone had the foresight to take these notes from an original pack and then stored them so they remained in perfect condition.

This set also includes some ERROR NOTES. If you look the top margins on some of the notes you can see that they are not as wide as the others. If you look at the corresponding backs you can see the margins are also different. You can see that the bottom margins were moved up as well.

This occurs when the printer doesn’t insert the sheet all the way.

It’s very rare to find this many notes that are in Choice Uncirculated condition. Consecutive notes always adds more value of the set. Finding 12 consecutive is very rare indeed.
