Product Description

Say goodbye to worrying about passwords and keys—Everykey is a Bluetooth device that uses military-grade security to replace them all! Just connect it to your compatible devices via Bluetooth, and Everykey will automatically unlock your phone, laptop, tablet, house door, car door, and other access-controlled devices when you are nearby, then locks them back down when you walk away.

Everykey also works for websites. When you first login to a website, your Everykey remembers that login. The next time you visit that website, Everykey will log you in automatically. It can even generate secure and random passwords for your accounts, then automatically log you in the next time you visit that website. You can also enable Everykey Two Factor Authentication for an added layer of security. Easily protect your devices and web accounts with two layers of authentication—your Everykey, as well as a biometric or pin.

With the Everykey app, you can pair your Everykey to your devices, manage Everykey settings such as Everykey Two Factor, and freeze your Everykey if it is ever lost or stolen. The Everykey app also pushes the latest over-the-air software updates to your Everykey so you can stay up to date on features and security standards.

FAQ
What about logins through game consoles or TVs?

This is not currently a supported feature, but it is on the roadmap for devices that support Bluetooth Low Energy.

What if you change your password; will it update automatically?

Yes, it will update automatically.

Does it work in other countries, like say Australia?

It will work wherever you are, it is not dependent on location. All you need is to make sure your Bluetooth is active.

Who's the 3rd party monitoring it?

Everykey's software is audited by RSM (formerly SecureState) as well as Urity Group.

What if it gets broken or wet?

If you lose or break your Everykey, you can purchase a replacement Everykey and pair it to your account. All of your data and saved passwords are stored in your account, not on the Everykey device itself, so your replacement will have access to that data.

Everykey is water-resistant.

What if you lose this? Is there a way to erase it so someone can’t just randomly log into what’s saved on it?

If you lose your Everykey, you can remotely freeze it so that no one else can access it. You can also enable Everykey Two-Factor so that you would need your Everykey as well as a second factor (such as a fingerprint or pin) in order to access your passwords. Nothing is saved on the Everykey device itself, so no one would be able to retrieve any data off of the Everykey device. If you want to delete the data stored in your account, you can reach out to Everykey to have it deleted.

If someone has an Everykey near me when I log in, can they steal my passwords?

In order for Everykey to work, the Everykey Applications and Browser Extensions need to be installed on the devices you want to use it on, and then the Everykey itself needs to be paired to those devices through those Applications. A random Everykey cannot just listen in and retrieve logins from any computer.

In addition, when logging in on a computer where Everykey has been set up, Everykey will prompt you if you want to save that password, and you can click "Save" or "Cancel" (which will then not save that password) and there is also checkbox to "Don't Ask on this Website".

What if I have multiple logins and passwords for the same website?

Everykey can store all of them as a different credential within the Password Manager! You will see them all listed as different credentials or usernames under the same website, and then when you want to login on that website Everykey will ask you which username you want to login with!

How about RFID enabled doorlocks?

Currently, Everykey requires Bluetooth Low Energy to operate.

How safe is the data?

We take security very seriously here at Everykey. We use four layers of encryption including AES 128-bit, AES 256-bit, and RSA 4096-bit encryption, which are used in military and other government applications. We have also gone through multiple security audits by an independent security auditing firm, RSM, and received the best score possible during each audit! You can learn more about our security practices here: https://everykey.com/security

Rest assured, your security is our top priority!

In what country are Everykey's information servers located?

Everykey uses AWS and they are in the USA.

What if someone steals my EK and personal devices? Can't they then just log into my accounts?

If your Everykey and devices are stolen, you can remotely freeze your Everykey so that no one else can use it. You can also enable Everykey Two-Factor so that someone would need both your Everykey as well as a second factor (such as a fingerprint or pin) in order to access your passwords and devices. Nothing is saved on the Everykey device itself, so no one would be able to retrieve any data off of the Everykey device.

What is the device lifecycle? Does it have a battery?

Yes, Everykey has a rechargeable battery that lasts up to 10 days, depending on usage. There is a 1-year limited warranty on the product.

Does this product require a subscription?

Everykey does not require a subscription to unlock your devices. To utilize Everykey's password management features like automatic login to websites and secure sharing of these passwords, you need the Everykey Vault. Your Touch of Modern purchase of Everykey comes with 1-year of the Everykey Vault subscription.

What if I am traveling with a phone that is paired with the Everykey, and I left my Everykey device at home. Can I manually by-pass it with a code to unlock my phone to gain full functionality?

You can still use your normal login method, whether it's a PIN or biometric, to unlock your phone. In addition, you can use a master password to log into Everykey and continue using Everykey and it's features!

Does this unlock my phone? Also, apps and websites on a mobile browser?

Yes, Everykey can autofill passwords in apps and most mobile browsers on your phone!
