Created by Master Distiller Chris Fletcher, the Jack Daniel’s Twice Barreled 2022 Special Release highlights an innovation from the Jack Daniel Distillery with a new grain bill from Lynchburg, Tennessee. This is a one-of-a-kind experience crafted from the highest quality malted barley, charcoal mellowed, and twice barreled for a complex taste.

The 2022 Special Release begins with 100% malted barley to impart notes of roasted nuts and toasted bread. After grinding and fermenting, the whole grain is distilled in copper stills and passed through Jack Daniel's traditional charcoal mellowing process. It’s then matured in brand new, charred oak barrels to capture Jack Daniel’s signature taste of caramel and vanilla, then transferred into the finest quality Spanish Oloroso sherry casks from the Antonio Paez Lobato Cooperage for a minimum of two years. This whiskey is bottled straight from the cask at a cask proof ranging from 106.1-107.8.
